But if you can not wait that long, EW.com 'song is your first peek “Lie To Me,” Backstreet over a slow track that closely resembles the classic pop ballads.
Dorough tells EW, “At the time [I was putting the album together], I was really in this positive place in life, had lots of energy, between Backstreet-New Kids and my family. So a lot of the album is dance and up-tempo [music]. But there’s definitely also the crooner ballads that people would know me for.
He continues, “For me, it felt right to go in this direction rather to go in a direction that I just wasn’t at, I think sometimes when you try to do that, you don’t give fans your best. Even if you shock them a little bit, at least you’re feeling the music and lyrics and able to put 100 percent into it”
